Exhibitor Manual

 

Dear Exhibitor:

On behalf of the entire HBA Staff and Management of UBM Live, I would like to welcome you to the 2013 HBA Global Expo and extend my gratitude for your participation in this year's event!

For 2013 we have added new opportunities and features to benefit you, all of which are listed in your Exhibitor Service Manual (ESM). Our list (to the left of this letter) highlights a few of our enhanced offerings designed to maximize your experience at HBA 2013:

The NEW PRODUCT SHOWCASE will focus on truly new products. The visitors make this SHOWCASE one of the most visited areas of the show. Our PR Manager, Annie Scully, will be inviting truly new products to a press conference and we will also include an opportunity to showcase these products to our exclusive VIP-invited audience of top cosmetic and personal care executives. Stay tuned for the plans. Note that each entry is $100, so you should look for your newest creative product to showcase.

You can make appointments with visitors in ADVANCE of the show. You do this through the "Map Your Show" application that requires your unique password to be used. It allows you to reach out to customers to request appointments with them, once they have registered. It also allows them to make appointments with you. Look for this to launch in April, as registration opens in March and the visitors must start registering before the appointments can be set.

The IPDA Awards and Reception will be held on Wednesday, June 19, at 4:30pm in the Exhibit Hall. You are invited to join this networking event at no charge: come raise a glass with your peers to celebrate!

A reminder that exhibitors have the opportunity to obtain a conference badge at no charge, these are picked up onsite at the Exhibitor Registration Counter and must be signed for because the value is over $1000 per badge. These passes access all sessions except for the IOPP sessions, which require an extra fee. This pass can only be used by your staff: the person utilizing the pass must be wearing his/her Exhibitor's badge but you can pass it among your staff members. The goal is to offer you world class education and/or access to our highly qualified conference visitor base.

This ESM has been designed to assist you with ordering the services you require for your participation at the show. We urge you to review the manual carefully and in its entirety. Please be sure this manual, or applicable parts of it, is given to the person(s) in your company responsible for coordinating your exhibit.

We recommend that you make copies of all of your orders, shipping documents and payments and bring them with you on-site. In order to take advantage of any advance pricing available to you as an exhibitor, please make sure to review the form in the beginning of the kit which outlines all deadlines!
