HBA Industry Awards Program

For the sixth time, HBA hosted its prestigious Industry Awards Dinner to a crowd of more than 700 top beauty and personal care executives and suppliers. On September 18th at the Marriott Marquis, HBA honored product development, marketing and packaging executives from CHANEL, COTY and Chrysallis. There was a tie for the Annual New Product R&D Technical Teams Award, recognizing two extraordinary teams from FusionBeauty and Kao Brands. The International Technology Awards, presented by Cosmetics & Toiletries magazine went to Silab and Cognis; the ICN Award: Recognizing Creativity went to Inter Parfums and the Fragranced Product Marketer of the Year Award was Dawn Simple Pleasures by P&G.

HBA Global Expo and ICN, the Paris-based trade publication for the beauty industry will honor innovation in the international beauty industry with the launch of a new award this year. The ICN Award 2007: Recognizing Creativity honors an individual or a company that has made an original contribution to the cosmetics and fragrance market.

ICN, part of the Cosmedias publishing group, is recognized and respected for its international outlook and intelligent commentary on today’Äôs fast-changing cosmetics and fragrance market. It is the must-read trade publication for senior retail executives, buyers, marketers and decision-makers worldwide.

FRAGRANCED PRODUCT MARKETER OF THE YEAR presented byphoto

Making its debut this year is the Fragrance Product Marketer of the Year Award presented by GCI Magazine.  This new award recognizes a dramatically different approach to fragranced products ’Äì uniqueness, creativity, market positioning, technology or application ’Äì in fine fragrance, home fragrance, spa or personal care product.

Nominations were accepted from marketers and suppliers in the fragranced product category. The winner was selected by a jury.

HBA INTERNATIONAL PACKAGE DESIGN AWARDS

The 8th Annual International Package Design Awards (IPDA), sponsored by Happi and Beauty Packaging. These awards will recognize the category leaders in design innovation from hundreds of companies from all over the world, in different channels of distribution and price points, including cosmetics, fragrance, personal care, skin care and professional beauty packaging as well as eco-friendly packaging. There will also be one Grand Award winner announced at the end of the evening.  The awards ceremony will be a night to remember and filled with excitement for all guests.
