Dr. J.-L. Flores received her PhD in Biochemical Engineering from the University of Braunschweig (Germany) and her Master in Biotechnology from the University of Kent at Canterbury (UK). She was co-founder of Applied Bioengineering S.A. in Peru. For the following years, she worked in biotech R&D at several biotech companies including Monsanto, Hoffman La Roche and later DSM Nutritional Products. Currently she is in charge of Open Innovation in the personal Care Division, where she provides dedicated focus to the development of new ingredients for skin and hair care applications
