Dr. Karl Lintner has a degree in Chemical Engineering from Vienna University (Austria) and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the same University. His 10 years of Research in Biological Peptides at the Nuclear Research Centre in Saclay, France resulted in 30 papers in biochemistry and biophysics published. From 1983-1989, he was Laboratory Manager, then Marketing Manager (product development and worldwide technical support) with the HENKEL Company, Düsseldorf, Germany; from 1990- 1996: Technical Director at SEDERMA; from 1997- 2007: Managing Director SEDERMA; from 2007-2010: Technical Advisor to CRODA/SEDERMA Enterprise Technology Division; and from 2010-present: President of KAL'IDEES, consulting company for the Cosmetic Industry. Dr. Lintner has filed several dozens of patents, published numerous articles and book chapters on cosmetic ingredients, edited a book on Regulatory Issues, sits on the board of the SFC (Société Française de Cosmétologie), teaches at ISIPCA (cosmetic and perfumery school in Versailles).
