Dr. Lambros Kromidas joined the Cosmetic Industry in 1996, when he joined Avon. Following, he joined Coty where he was responsible for Clinical Testing, Claims Substantiation, Microbiology, Toxicology, Consumer Affairs, and Regulatory Affairs. At Coty he championed the creation of the Coty Testing Institute – an in-house testing facility that directed claims and efficacy studies, including the development of unique efficacy and claim support test methods. Currently Dr. Kromidas is with Nu World Beauty (http://www.nuworldcosmetics.com) and serve as a Sr. Director of Regulatory, QC, & Scientific Affairs. NWB offers the latest in technological breakthroughs in the development of cosmetics and OTC products. They are a full-service operation that develops and fully support brands. As an active member of the Cosmetic Industry worldwide Dr. Kromidas addressed product safety, claim substantiation, regulatory and sustainability related matters. He has several publications and given various presentations on diverse subjects including Green cosmetics and scientific claim substantiation.
