Meryl Reis

 
Meryl Reis is the Senior Director of Research and Development at Rohto-Mentholatum Research Laboratories (RMRL), an affiliate of The Mentholatum Company.  RMRL is responsible for new product development and clinical/claims substantiations for OTC topical drug and cosmeceutical projects. RMRL develops and globalizes innovative products based on the creative application of science, technology, and open communication.  The Mentholatum Company has a heritage in cough/cold care and markets products in the anti-acne, topical analgesic, eye care and lip care categories.  Meryl has a BS degree in Chemistry and an MS degree in Industrial Pharmacy.  Her career in research has focused on alternative dosage forms and consumer's daily healthcare products, first at Warner-Lambert's Consumer Products R&D and then with Wyeth Consumer Health.  After joining The Mentholatum Company she advanced to head their US R&D division.  With Mentholatum, Meryl has helped launch numerative innovative products with clinical and consumer studies supporting global brands.  Meryl enjoys travel and her two awesome sons.
