When talking about the “Next Leap Forward”, we’re accustomed to revolutionary ideas that transform the way we do things. This is well evident from the history of the applications of biotechnology within the cosmetic field. The industry has a voracious appetite for innovation, often consuming innovative technologies faster than they can be developed. The rapid pace of innovation has honed our expectations to a point where, still new, technologies are often thought of as “Oh so fifteen minutes ago…”. After their initial “splash”, many new technologies mature and get applied in entirely new, innovative, ways. This maturation brings the revolutionary idea to the next, more valuable, level.
